In the mid-eighties….1985 to be exact…
the idea of having a line of greeting cards
was gaining momentum and excitement.
(it also helped me distract myself from writing a toon)
 
I attended a “how to design your own greeting cards” seminar
facilitated by a local greeting card representative for American Greetings
by the name of Roger Gee.
(YES!....the same “ROGER” of “OUTING BUCKMINSTER” fame)
 
we clicked and connected….
and soon decided to design a line of greeting cards together.
his expertise in marketing, mine in cartoons,

RIGHT BRAIN meets LEFT BRAIN
GAY MAN collaborates with STRAIGHT
ARTIST and ACCOUNTANT unite!!!
(and occasionally collide!)

together we would capture the hearts of millions by the use of my
”corner of the sky” characters.
 our ideas came together…..found the backing and 
went to press on the greeting card line below
