in honor and celebration of her being the first Lesbian to be elected
to the San Diego City Council in 1993 
representing San Diego’s Third District  - the heart of the LGBT Community,
Christine was presented this cartoon 
as a statement of duck-appreciation for the fine work 
she has done and will continue to do.
 
Christine Kehoe was elected to the California State Assembly 
on November 7, 2000 to represent the 76th Assembly District 
and has been a pioneer and champion for LGBT equality 
and domestic partnership legislation.
