soon after my duck-debut in the “GAY AND LESBIAN TIMES”,
I captured a readership rather quickly…

this was all very very very exciting for me....
amongst all my community involvement, I connected with 
Vicki Garcia and Darren Palmer 
(of Marketing Impressions - a marketing and advertising agency)
with their expertise and guidance, the seeds were planted 
and I soon re-visited my life-long dream of national syndication.

through the trials and tribulations of marketing art I soon found
“THE ARTIST’S WAY”
- the ground-breaking book on creativity by Julia Cameron -
(and the course that I know teach)
which led me to the idea of self-syndication.
self-syndication….what a concept!!!
 
taking this brazen step....I soon proposed my duck-toons 
to gay and gay-friendly publications across the country.
much to my surprise and delight….they said YES!!!
very quickly my life-long dream of 
national syndication
became a reality in 1995.
 
over the years from
"corner of the sky"
to
“such is LIFE!”  
to
“QUACK CITY!”
