many times I was asked in my earlier duck years…
“what does a duck have to do with being gay???” 
to me the answer was obvious
….if we are everywhere….then that “everywhere” includes a duck pond.
which was quickly followed by a clever….
“besides what have you got against ducks, anyway??!!!??”

back in the mid- 90’s when I made the personal/professional decision to
 “OUT” buckminster duck
and launch him into the world of the gay press
little did I realize that I was as
progressive, imaginative and innovative as I was!!!!. 

now there seems to be gay ducks everywhere you turn….
QUEER DUCK (don’t get me started)
and Harvey Fierstein’s “THE SISSY DUCKLING”
(you are adorable!!!…duck-smooches to Harvey and Elmer).

who has quite a colorful and sorted duck-history
